About Me
Pastor | Philanthropist | Visionary
Jennifer R. Biard is the Senior Pastor of Jackson Revival Center Church, a rapidly growing nondenominational, ethnically diverse congregation in Jackson, MS. She was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 1996 and licensed in 1998 and has devoted the majority of her life to providing people with tools and resources that encourage and inspire them to live wholesome, transformational lives. She is also the author of It’s Gonna Happen Anyway and ALIGN – A 31 Day Devotional, and the founder of Revival Press and Publishing.
Before assuming the role of Senior Pastor, Jennifer’s professional journey was marked by significant contributions in child services and mental health. She served as a counselor with the Hinds County Human Resource Agency’s Adolescent Offender Program and as a Day Therapist with the Mississippi State Hospital. Her ministerial experience was shaped under the guidance of her father, Raymond O. Biard, the founding pastor of Jackson Revival Center, where she honed her managerial and administrative skills, overseeing multiple projects and gaining insights into the church’s operations.
Beyond her pastoral duties, Jennifer has dedicated her time to philanthropy, founding several organizations aligned with her mission to transform lives. These include the Little Ambassadors Developmental Learning Center, a preschool for inner city children; Hearts of Compassion Independent Living for Seniors, a testament to her mother Dorothy L. Biard’s vision; Revival Roots Farms, an innovative urban agriculture initiative using hydroponic and aeroponic technology to fight hunger and address food deserts; and the Corporation for Global Community Development, a nonprofit organization committed to the growth and development of low to moderate-income individuals and communities across Mississippi.
With the understanding that partnership is a key to positive change, Pastor Jennifer has worked with and served on a variety of community-focused boards and councils throughout the years. These relationships have been part of her goal towards finding common ground to achieve uncommon goals.
Beyond the recognition and achievements, Jennifer is simply a woman driven to love God and to love people.
Pastor
As the Senior Pastor of Jackson Revival Center Church, Jennifer connects with people from all walks of life. Each week is a new opportunity for her to affect change in men, women and children as she not only delivers the Word of God from the pulpit, but also relates to the congregation personally. Caring for the body and witnessing God’s transformative work is one of her greatest joys.
Philanthropist
Jennifer has always been a giver at heart, and the doors God has opened within the last few years have allowed her philanthropic efforts to grow at an increasing pace. In 2007, she founded the Corporation for Global Community Development, a nonprofit organization designed to promote the growth and development of low to moderate income individuals and communities. Through a variety of strategic partnerships and collaborations, Jennifer has directly and indirectly afforded housing and employment opportunities, health and wellness initiatives, and educational resources to countless individuals.
Visionary
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18a
Just as God gave vision to many of the prophets of old, He has likewise given Jennifer vision to see beyond what is and rally those around her to create that which was not. She continues to tread uncharted territory, allowing her faith to lead the way and trusting God to order her steps. With the support of the people, Jennifer is determined to leave a lasting impact and fulfill the great commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
